April 7 2009 Phase 3 draft reports were uploaded to the Region's website. Be aware that some of these documents will probably be changed. Hungry Hollow
We are fortunate to have an environmental gem that runs through the middle of Georgetown and it is owned by us as citizens of the Town of Halton Hills. What we have to decide now is, are we going to be custodians of this green space in our midst or merely users? For more information, click here.
Halton Region poised to take reservoir off escarpment
Halton Region is in the process of identifying the preferred location for a lake-based reservoir and associated feeder main for north Halton. One option was on the Niagara Escarpment, but the Region is now recommending that that option be taken off the table. For study information, visit here.
